The Rampant

The Rampant

Known as the most expensive surfboard in the world, the beautiful board called “The Rampant” was created by surfboard designer Roy Stuart. Offering a single concave from nose to tail, which vastly improves balance, the 10-foot 6-inch board is sculpted from paulownia timber and features a lion painted in 23-karat gold on the surface. A unique tunnel is fine crafted from kahikatea wood on the bottom of the board with a polycarbonate fin which provides rapid acceleration. Costing wave-catchers a cool $1.3 million, Stuart says “Life is short, get the best if you can, a price is just a number, but the experience is forever.”
